Supervision is available in a variety of areas related to existing research conducted by faculty members, including algebra, analysis, geometry and topology. Applicants are not required to specify a particular area of interest.
This program will be run in cooperation with NSERC's Undergraduate Student Research Award program. The awards will be for four months during May -- August, 2018. Salaries will be a minimum of $500 per week for 16 weeks, depending on circumstances, and we will, in addition, provide a travel allowance in accordance with NSERC’s Travel Allowance policy. The awards are subject to availability of funding and depend on the qualifications of the applicants. Each applicant should be an undergraduate student in a mathematical sciences program, and possess an A average.
