NOTE: In paper 11 (listed below), John Pym and I established the existence of Haar
measure mu on compact right topological groups G that satisfy a countability condition,
mu being a probability measure on G that is right invariant, unique as such, and hence also
left invariant.  In the sequel paper 10, which appeared in the Journal of the Nigerian
Mathematical Society 11(1992), 63 - 80, we established the existence of such a measure for
all compact right topological groups; here is a  pdf file .
   Our approach in this paper allows us to add some new conditions to the known list of
conditions on a homomorphism of minimal flows that are equivalent to its distality.
