INFORMATION REGARDING THE MIDTERM TEST:

·        The test covers the material from the sections of Chapters 1, 2, and Appendix D and Sections  3.4, 3.5 3.6 and 3.7 listed on the Course Outline.   (The material from Section 3.8, as well as all of those which follow, will be tested on the final exam.)

·        The test has two parts: A and B.

·        Part A, worth a total of 50 marks, consists of 25 Multiple Choice problems to be answered on Scantron sheets  (Multiple Choice answer sheets which will be marked by machine).

·        Part B, worth a total of 50 marks, consists of several problems for which the students should show their work and some “fill in the blank” problems (for which no work need be shown).

·        Calculators and formula lists and all other “aids” are NOT ALLOWED.  Students should show all work, except for the multiple choice, and “fill in the blank” problems for which there will be no part marks given.  In all others, unjustified answers will receive little or no credit.

·        There are multiple versions of the test.  MAKE SURE TO ENTER THE CORRECT CODE NUMBER ON THE SCANTRON SHEET.

·        Students must bring their STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARDS with them to the test.
