INFORMATION REGARDING THE MIDTERM TEST:
· The test covers the material from the sections all listed on the Course Outline. Around 20% of the marks on the exam are for problems which might have been on the midterm test.
·
The test has
two parts: A and B.
·
Part A, worth a
total of 40
marks, consists of 20 Multiple Choice problems.
·
Part B, worth a
total of 60
marks, consists of several problems for which the students should show their
work and some "fill in the blank" problems (for which no work need be shown).
· Calculators and formula lists and all other “aids” are NOT ALLOWED. Students should show all work, except for the multiple choice problems for which there will be no part marks given. In all others, unjustified answers will receive little or no credit.
· Students must bring their STUDENT IDENTIFICATION CARDS with them to the test.
