Highlights of 2022-23 Competition
The Western University Mathematics Exposition Competition was initiated by AWM Western and the Department of Mathematics to connect to a more general audience and spark interest in studying mathematics at Western.
In this competition, seventeen teams of 2-3 of highschool students (Grades 10-12) worked under the supervision of a mentor (A high school teacher, senior undergraduate, or graduate student) on a project and produced a poster that was entered into the competition.
The submitted posters were first reviewed to ensure that they meet all the requirements, they then went through a panel of judges at Western University (graduate students, faculty).
